Cape Mod Revisited
So I opened up the bottom seam of my Cape Mod. I decided to make it longer. I wore it once over the weekend and the length felt a little odd for me. I have four skeins of the deeper gray left, so I'm going to use it and see how long it will go. I'll finish it up with a bottom stripe of the deep pink yarn w/ the light pink fuzzy accent yarn.
I'm getting ready to start a sewing project. This is an easy one that should ease me into it. I found it in the current issue of Ready Made. The project consists of taking old concert T's and turning them into cute biased sleeveless tees or long tanks. There are no photos of the project on the website, but I'll post mine when they're done.
I saw an old Martha Stewart Living show over the weekend that really got me going as far as making clothing and accessories go. Martha had Emily Mills on the show who explained how she felts fabulous wool scarfs. She also showed her knitting machine. Emily has a website called EmKnits.
